I have extensively worked with this navigation architecture in a large app with many screens and a rather complex flow. And I will never be using it again. I heavily recommend everybody to stay away from it. It’s very inflexible, easily crashes, is hard to debug, and all the xml turns into unmanageable spaghetti.
